About Our Church

NWBC is a family oriented, Christ-Centered church, proudly serving our local community through Worship, Bible Study, and Fellowship.

Our Pastor, Lance Fairly

Pastor Lance has been a member of our local community since 1987.  He served as our Deacon for over 10 years.  In 2015, he was officially ordained and became our Pastor.  Pastor Lance is a well known artist with a local Fine Arts gallery that features his own works.  He has served our rooted church along with his wife, Letitia, in various ministries for years.  Together, they raised their grown children, Alexis and James at NWBC.

"I was drawn to Hawaii by its beauty, but I stayed because of its people and the aloha spirit.  My Christianity has been shaped by the love of Jesus experienced by my Hawaiian brothers and sisters." ~ Lance Fairly

Our Deacon, Bill Aberilla

Deacon Bill has been integral fixture at NWBC since the early 80's.  He has served as a pillar in our church, contributed towards keeping our mission, and continues to help remind us of our roots.

Deacon Bill leads our 9:00am Bible Study.

Our Worship Leader, Noah Mahi

Noah leads our worship each Sunday with both traditional hymns and contemporary Christian music.  Our worship team also injects Polynesian lyric from time to time, truly connecting with our community's local roots.

Noah is often joined by other members with bass, drums, and vocals to prepare our hearts for the message each Sunday.

 Children and Youth

Our church has a growing Children's Church led by dedicated teachers

Aunty Penny Kaanaana is another pillar and rooted fixture in our church, and she humbly serves as our Children's Church Director.  Our Children's Church is run like family.  Children of elementary school age join together to learn, create, and play.  Older children support younger children, and together we learn from each other.

Extended Care serves our keiki ages 3-5 and is led by Brandi Pontin.

Dedicated members of our church serve as regular teachers for our eager keiki.

Fellowship / Outreach

Our church prides itself in bringing the body of Christ together for fellowship.  We believe it is our mission as Bible believing Christians that we are called to share the good news of salvation through the person of Jesus Christ.
